(CNN)– Tickets for Barack Obama’s Democratic National Convention speech at the Invesco Field in Denver sold out within 24 hours, according to campaign officials.

Message to Hillary - He will be President of the United States in 2009.

Message to Hillary - He will be President of the United States in 2013.

Message to Hillary - You, more than any other American, have contributed to that outcome.

Message to Hillary - Your selfishness, your dishonesty, your mean spirit, your vapid notions of domestic and foreign policy, your 'bomb, bomb, bomb Iran' rip-off of McCain's theme song ....

The mayor released the following statement:

There are a lot of reasons that Americans are angry about Washington politics. And one more example is the way Senator Obama’s opponents are playing guilt-by-association, tarring him because he happens to know Bill Ayers.

I also know Bill Ayers. He worked with me in shaping our now nationally-renowned school reform program. He is a nationally-recognized distinguished professor of education at the University of Illinois/Chicago and a valued member of the Chicago community.

I don’t condone what he did 40 years ago but I remember that period well. It was a difficult time, but those days are long over. I believe we have too many challenges in Chicago and our country to keep re-fighting 40 year old battles.

The message is cogent, truthful and not in any way condescending.

Perhaps it is time to consider your legacy.

Perhaps you can elevate your status from a person passionate about being President - only to fail and cause enormous damage in the process - to being truly Presidential without ever occupying the Office.

How might you do that?

Senator Obama has created a field.

It is ever more a potent attractor because of the intelligence, creativity, empathy, commitment, fortitude, courage, selflessness, kindness, ... of all those aggregating and collaborating to sustain and enhance opportunity for not just Americans but humanity.

It's just that simple.

It's just that powerful and it will bring us all together to be so much more than any one of us ever expected we would experience.

New Hampshire citizens are preparing to make history, once again, and thereby lead the Nation to focus on the most compelling, qualified, and internationally respected candidate since Eisenhower - Al Gore.

Period.

Mr Gore, you have the presence, the skills, the ethics and the courage to transform America from a corporatist, militarist, elitist regime into a valid and modern Democracy.

Thus, I will vote for you on 4 Nov 2008.

I will do whatever I can to convince the majority of voters to do likewise ... with ink and paper, if necessary.

Mr Gore - Just Imagine that it is October 29, 2008.

Just Imagine what it would mean for America and humanity if you had decided on October 29, 2007 to call on all of us to launch a people-powered endeavor for change.

Just Imagine what it would mean for America if you called on each voter to write your name on the ballot of every Democratic Primary.

Just Imagine what it would mean for you and all of us to arrive at the Democratic Party Convention with a candidate - YOU - who had won every Democratic Party primary as the Peoples' Choice - as their write-in candidate.

We have the connectedness technology - it's called the internet.

We have the connectedness tools - like YouTube.

We have the mechanisms and the DraftGore2008 folk are deploying those mechanisms in numerous States.

Reid To Allow Vote On Feingold Measure To End Iraq War

Good news for war foes: Harry Reid just spoke on the Senate floor, revealing that he'll allow a vote this week on the Feingold-Reid amendment, which would cut off funding for the war by March 31, 2008.

This is a big deal for war opponents -- it's the first vote in the Senate on a measure of this kind. "This is a vote that folks have been clamoring for for some time now," enthuses a staffer who works for a Senator favoring the approach.

Al Gore's primary message is simple.

Saving the only known platform for sustainable life in the currently known universe is NOW OUR IRREVOCABLE AND IMMEDIATE RESPONSIBILITY.

Be bold, courageous, unselfish and a leader.

Announce you will not be a candidate for President in 2008.

Announce that you will focus every moment of every day on redeployment of US troops out of Iraq, Now.

Announce that you will be unrelenting in holding the Bush Administration accountable for their unjust war and their deception of the American people.

You, more than any other Member of the 110th US Congress, have the ability to lead America out of the deadly darkness Bush has wrought on our Nation and humanity.

The process needs to start, Now. You can launch that process.

Please place America before politics and career. Please lead, Now.
