I've been a member of the community for 18 months or so, and have never sought attention.

Has anyone noticed that Sullivan took a powder at the exact moment Gannon gained notoriety?

The DC gay community (see addendum below) isn't big enough to make it idle speculation that these two gentlemen knew each other. Sully, as we remember, was busted in his own mini sex scandal awhile back, involving soliciting unprotected sex on internet sites.

Which is not to say that they did know each other, except by name. But one would think that Sullivan, of all conservative commentators, would take an interest in the Gannon story. One would think.

Inquiring minds, etc. It would seem an odd time to go on hiatus from one's blog just as such a story was brewing up.
 

Someone else posted a diary on possible progressive 'Black Ops' while I was sitting down to write this, and I'm sure there are ambivalent feelings here about such things. But I'm raising this in a purely neutral, hypothetical spirit -- in the spirit of science, as it were.

So Gannon. Everybody's been puzzling over Gannon/Guckert, wondering what he knows and parsing his deceptive utterances to the press. But we've been overlooking something here.

For the low price of $1200, Guckert/Gannon is available for a weekend-long, extremely intimate encounter, in which many things might, as it were, be exposed.
